Summer Boredom
Teens can’t wait ‘till summer comes, but they often get board and don’t know what to do when it finally arrives. This text shows teens how to prevent boredom during summer vacation.
Get a summer job. It’ll keep you busy and you’ll earn money. You’ll also meet new people and even make new friends. If you’re not old enough to get a summer job, ask your parents if you could go to work with them.
There are all kinds of camps offered during summers, day camps for sports, music, dance, crafts, and more. So, find one that interests you and sign up. You can join sport clubs as well that have practices and games to help you keep in shape and competitive. There are classes that you can take to learn fun new skills like cooking, scrapbooking, photography, etc.
Try to spend time with your family and friends. You can plan parties and invite them over or create a club. Go at least one time camping or go to the movies, a museum, an attraction park or a zoo with them.
Review what you have learned during your school year, so that way you won’t forget all the information you have learned during the year. If you don’t want do that, go to your local library to find a book you would like to read.
In conclusion, there are many ways to distract yourself during the summer, whether it’s camping or reading, you just need imagine all the possibilities!

So I would like a Cricut, but i am not sure which to get out of the Expression or Create. I am new to Cricut Machines and I want one purely for CARDMAKING not scrapbooking !! I need a average size one and as long as the pieces can fit on a normal card, then thats fine…. I would love a Imagine but i dont have the money and there a bit big ! I live in england so if anyone mentions prices make sure there english …..

I am a cardmaker also, but really use the extra width of the expression for cards that fold and for envelopes, etc. I also like the extra width and length for cutting vinyl designs. I am active in many Cricut forums and I can confidently say that most people who buy the smaller Cricuts look forward to upgrading them whereas I can’t think if anyone who regrets starting out with the larger machine.
I can’t say what your costs are there in the UK, but here in the US the larger machines are very reasonably priced now.

Hello everyone! this is just a quick view of my popup scrapbook. i made this a while ago but never had time to upload it. I used my cricut and images i found on the internet. As some of you know, i gave up scrapbooking a while back, but i could’nt keep away so i had to do something and this popup book was the closes thing i could do without speeding much money on all the scrapbook stuff. So this mini album may seem plain!! I hope you guys enjoy it and that it inspire you all to go make one. hey guys !

My best friends’ 18th is coming up in a few weeks time , and i want to make her a scrapbook of all the memories that we’ve had together plus i was thinking i’ll save a few pages at the back for her to stick in photos of her 18th party
but yeah , i’m really excited to make it ! and want to really please her with it …
I’m getting her money as well , but i really do want the scrapbook to be something special !
I’m really confused about whether i should get a scrapbook BOOK (spiral bound) or like an album ? I haven’t seen the scrapbooking spiral bound books in supermarkets in sydney , australia before … so i’m kinda confused ! But i have seen the albums around
She’s into island kind of themes and wooden stuff , i wanna do like a theme of brown shades and palm trees and sorta like representing the islands haha
I have heaps of photos and stuff , but does anyone know what i can add to it to make it really cute ? I have lots of ideas and messages to put in it , so filling up a 12×12 album won’t be a problem…it’s just that i wanna get like small stickers and fun things to stick into the album !

I would go to the craft store and just start picking out things. I don’t know how things are in Austrailia because I am from America but I do know that you will want to do it as easily as possible to make it look nice. The scrapbooks with the page protecters in them are the easiest to do because you can mess up and not have to put it in the book. I would pick out some paper that you love and pick out some stickers to go with the paper. Also don’t forget lettering, you can handwrite stuff too but sometimes it’s nice to have some lettering for the title of the pages. You can add anything that you have to make those pages unique. Magazines, notes, scrap peices of fabric, cards, menues from resturants, anything that is somewhat flat that you can glue down, can be added to the book. You can also put your favorite songs and write out the lyrics for them. One thing that I find helpful is to go through your pictures and pick out the ones that you want to use before you go to the store. That way you have an idea of what you need to get to compliment those pictures. Good Luck!
