Does anyone sell stuff on eBay and make good profit?
Published by admin on July 25, 2010I am interested in making money on the side using eBay but dont exactly know much about eBay at all.
I dable in acrylic painting and have been trying to watch how original art work is selling…but i dont really know how to tell if its selling good or not.
I know someone whos going to try and buy scrapbooking things at wholesale costs and sell them for profit on eBay…so that is an option too.
But what companies let you do that wihouth having a store?
Ive been trying to research it online and it seems I end up at scam…or a website that is only there to try and make you click on stupid links.
Any amount of information would be awsome because I really need a second source of income.
well i used to sell electronics on eBay , and it worked for me , i used to sell almost everything , I pods , Xboxs, cell phones, PC accessories, PS(2,3) , and these stuff were very profiting , anyway if u are interested send my an e-mail , and i can send u the site that i do biz with , they are something believe me. anyway i hope it helps.

To tell if an item is selling or not and for how much, make sure you are looking at completed auctions. The green ones sold, the red ones did not.
If you are artistic, do a search for ooak (stands for original one of a kind) on Ebay. Some artists are making a killing, not with typical paintings but with mosaics, doing the reborn babies, and barbies, chippy furniture.
As far as wholesalers, anyone who is doing well on ebay via the wholesaler route is not going to tell you who their source is. That would make you their competition.

I’ve started a book selling store on ebay and am doing pretty good. Not enough to quit my job or anything, but it’s starting off pretty good since June 6th. Before that, I was selling things from my house and did well there too.
I agree about the difficulty of trying to find a good reliable wholesaler. I gave up on the net and am checking places in and around my area now. I agree with the previous person, no one is going to give you their source, you will possibly put them out of business.

eBay is a worldwide marketplace where anyone can sell most anything. And that is the whole problem with eBay. Because it is worldwide marketplace selling prices are rock bottom. So, in order to compet and make any money at all on eBay a seller must get their items to sell at way below wholesale prices and sell them on eBay at a price that is still below wholesale. So, unless you know where you can get free merchandise to sell, forget eBay and get a real job.
Ebay is only good for occassionally selling your own old junk that you don’t want, but hope to get a couple of bucks for. Even then the chances that it will actually sell is less that 50-50.

I have sold many things on ebay. From things around the house all the way up to automobiles. My favorite items to sell are toys and this time of the year is a perfect time for this.
